Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces Bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cloves cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • Lemon slices or zest Lemon slices or zest

Instructions 

  • Whisk garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, honey; marinate chicken 15 min.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear chicken skin-side down until golden, 6–7 min.
  • Flip chicken, add marinade, simmer until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C), 5–6 min.
  • Increase heat, cook sauce until glossy, 1–2 min.
  • Rest chicken 5 min, garnish with parsley and lemon zest before serving.

Notes

Use fresh lemon for the best flavor and adjust seasoning to taste.
