2cupscooked rice preferably day-old
8ozsteak ribeye, sirloin, or flank, diced
2tbspbutter
1tbspolive oil
4clovesgarlic, minced
2eggsbeaten eggs
½cupfrozen peas and carrots
2tbspsoy sauce
1tbspoyster sauce
1tspsesame oil
2green onionschopped green onions

Instructions
Heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add diced steak, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add garlic to the same pan and cook until fragrant. Push to the side and scramble beaten eggs in the cleared space.
Add another tbsp of butter, then stir in rice, breaking up clumps. Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
Stir in peas and carrots, cooking for 2 minutes. Return steak to the pan, stir well, and cook for 1 minute. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
