  • 1 lb shrimp (16-20 count, peeled and deveined)
  • 5 Tbsp butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • ¼-½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Parsley (finely chopped, optional)

Instructions 

  • Peel and devein the shrimp; pat dry.
  • Add 2 tbsp butter to a skillet over medium heat; cook shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
  • Melt remaining butter in the skillet; add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Serve with parsley.
