A flavorful homemade focaccia bread infused with fresh rosemary and topped with sea salt, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast yeast
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

Topping

  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions 

  • Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 mins until foamy.
  • Mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil; stir into dough.
  • Knead dough 5 mins until smooth. Let rise 1 hour.
  • Press dough onto greased sheet, dimple surface, sprinkle rosemary and sea salt. Rise 20 mins.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 mins until golden.
  • Cool slightly, then slice and serve warm or room temp.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush with olive oil before baking.
