A flavorful homemade focaccia bread infused with fresh rosemary and topped with sea salt, perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
Dough
2
cups
all-purpose flour
1
cup
warm water
2
tablespoons
olive oil
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
sugar
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons)
active dry yeast
yeast
2
tablespoons
fresh rosemary, chopped
Topping
Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 mins until foamy.
Mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil; stir into dough.
Knead dough 5 mins until smooth. Let rise 1 hour.
Press dough onto greased sheet, dimple surface, sprinkle rosemary and sea salt. Rise 20 mins.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 mins until golden.
Cool slightly, then slice and serve warm or room temp.
Notes
For extra flavor, brush with olive oil before baking.
