This vibrant dish features tender salmon glazed with a sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce, perfect for a quick and impressive meal.

Ingredients

Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz / 170 g each), skin-on or skinless
  • 0.33 cup Thai sweet chili sauce (Mae Ploy recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat broiler to high, rack 6 inches from heat. Mix chili sauce, soy, lime juice, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Pat salmon dry, then place on foil-lined baking sheet. Brush generously with glaze.
  • Broil for 8-10 minutes until opaque and caramelized. Optionally, brush with more glaze.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Ensure to watch the salmon closely to prevent burning during broiling.
