A creamy, cheesy potato bake with a crispy golden top, perfect for comforting family dinners.
Ingredients
Potatoes

starchy potatoes (Russets or Yukon Golds)
1-2
cups
heavy cream
1-2
cups
shredded cheese (Gruyère and cheddar blend)
2-3
cloves
garlic (minced)

Salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
Wash, peel, and thinly slice potatoes.
Mix heavy cream with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Layer potatoes, pour half of the cream, and sprinkle half of the cheese; repeat and cover with foil.
Bake covered for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake 20-30 minutes until golden.
Notes
Use a mix of Gruyère and cheddar for best flavor.
