A quick and flavorful chicken dish with a creamy mushroom sauce, made without heavy cream for a lighter meal.

Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken until golden-brown, about 5 minutes per side; set aside.
Cook mushrooms in remaining oil until golden; add garlic and sauté.
Mix cornstarch with water, add chicken broth and cook until bubbling; stir in cream cheese until smooth.
Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use fresh herbs and high-quality chicken broth.
