A quick and creamy beef stroganoff served over fluffy rice, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

sirloin steak
(thinly sliced)

vegetable oil
(divided)

onion
(finely chopped)

baby bella mushrooms
(sliced)

garlic
(minced)
Sauce and Thickener

all-purpose flour

beef broth

sour cream or Greek yogurt

tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce

Dijon mustard
Rice

(cooked as per package instructions)
Instructions
Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sliced steak until browned, then remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil, sauté onions and mushrooms until tender. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir well, then pour in beef broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
Return beef to skillet, stir in sour cream, Worcestershire, and mustard. Cook until heated through.
Notes
Use full-fat sour cream for creamier texture.
