large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce ingredients

olive oil

heavy cream

grated Parmesan cheese

pasta water reserved
Seasonings

Instructions
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water and drain.
Sauté shrimp in olive oil with seasonings until pink, then remove and set aside.
Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic, then add heavy cream and Parmesan, stirring until smooth. Add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
Combine cooked pasta and shrimp with the sauce, stirring gently. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or more Parmesan.
