A quick and delicious dish combining tender gnocchi with a rich, flavorful pesto cream sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Gnocchi

  • 1 package gnocchi (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • for garnish Fresh basil

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add gnocchi and cook until tender, 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and pesto, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, stir until melted, season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional Parmesan or fresh herbs.
