Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups jasmine or basmati rice
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Chopped parsley for garnish parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook rice in broth according to package instructions.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens; season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve shrimp over rice and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
