A quick and flavorful pasta dish combining cheese tortellini, cooked chicken, and a rich basil pesto cream sauce.
Ingredients

cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)

cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
Sauce

olive oil or butter

heavy cream or half and half

basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions
Cook tortellini in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
Heat oil or butter in a skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
Pour in cream, simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in pesto and Parmesan.
Add cooked chicken and tortellini, stir to coat, and heat through.
Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and add spinach if desired; serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half and reduce cheese.
