A creamy, flavorful turkey dish perfect for serving over toast, biscuits, or mashed potatoes. Quick to prepare and ideal for using leftover turkey.

a few gratings
nutmeg

Instructions
Shred or cut the cooked turkey into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, whisk in flour, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and simmer until sauce thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream, season with cayenne, nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add turkey (and vegetables if using), reheat gently, and serve hot over toast or biscuits.
Notes
Adjust seasoning to taste and serve immediately for best flavor.
