Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of water, then drain.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat; sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
Add cream cheese, reserved water, parmesan, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; whisk until smooth.
Combine drained pasta with sauce; toss and add more water if needed.
Adjust seasoning; serve garnished with extra parmesan and herbs if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of cream or top with extra herbs.
