A rich and buttery vanilla pound cake that's perfect for any occasion. Simple to make with classic ingredients, it offers a moist and flavorful treat.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with flour.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
