A creamy, hearty oatmeal infused with cocoa and peanut butter for a delicious breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • tsp. Mineral Salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Real Maple Syrup
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Salted Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Natural Peanut Butter
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  • Add milk, oats, salt, maple syrup, and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Whisk until combined.
  • Bring to a low boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to medium and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  • Add peanut butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, top with sliced bananas or a drizzle of additional maple syrup.
