Ingredients

Brownie Layer

  • 1 recipe eggless brownie

Chocolate Layer

  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate (226 grams)
  • 1 ¼ cup heavy whipping cream (to whip)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch salt

Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions 

  • Prepare the brownie according to your recipe and let it cool.
  • Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and mix with 1 ¼ cups heavy cream to make the chocolate layer.
  • Whip 1 cup heavy cream with confectioners’ sugar and vanilla to make whipped cream.
  • Layer the brownie, chocolate, and whipped cream in a trifle dish. Repeat layers as desired.
  • Top with chocolate chips or chopped chocolate and chill before serving.

Notes

For best results, chill the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving.
