A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef, sweet onions, and savory sauces, perfect served over rice or noodles.
Ingredients

beef flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

onion, thinly sliced

vegetable oil

garlic, minced

ginger, minced

tbsp
soy sauce

tbsp
oyster sauce

tbsp
hoisin sauce

tbsp
cornstarch mixed with water for thickening

Instructions
Toss sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and black pepper; marinate 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok; stir-fry beef in batches 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil; stir-fry onions 4-5 minutes until soft and caramelized.
Add garlic and ginger; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin, sesame oil, and broth; return beef to pan, add sauce, and stir to coat.
Add cornstarch slurry; cook 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
Use high heat for stir-frying and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
