Delicious homemade garlic knots filled with melted mozzarella, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 300 g Plain Flour
  • 7 g Fast-Action Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 180 ml Warm Water
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Filling & Topping

  • 100 g Mozzarella Cheese Grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter Unsalted, Melted
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped

Instructions 

  • Mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead into a smooth dough.
  • Let the dough proof in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Divide dough into small portions, roll into ropes, tie into knots, and place on a lined baking tray.
  • Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Mix garlic with melted butter and parsley.
  • Brush knots with garlic butter, sprinkle with mozzarella, and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese melts.
