A hearty and comforting dish combining seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and melted cheddar cheese for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat and Potatoes

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz can)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook ground beef in olive oil until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
  • Mix beef, potatoes, soup, milk, seasonings; transfer to a greased dish.
  • Top with shredded cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add chopped onions or herbs.
