Delight in these savory muffins packed with cheese and fresh herbs, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Cheese and herbs

  • 1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme, or chives), such as parsley

Wet ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix dry ingredients and cheeses with herbs.
  • Whisk wet ingredients together.
  • Combine wet and dry, stir until just mixed.
  • Spoon batter into greased muffin tin, bake 18-20 mins.
  • Cool briefly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
