Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Slice bread, toast for 6 minutes.
Blend basil, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan, pepper, and salt until smooth. Add olive oil and mayonnaise to make pesto aioli.
Spread pesto on bread halves. Layer tomato slices, mozzarella, drizzle with balsamic, add arugula, then top with the other bread half.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the sandwich rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
