large shrimp, peeled and deveined

diced red bell pepper

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
Season shrimp with Cajun spices, then sear in olive oil and butter until pink, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan until smooth. Season as needed.
Combine cooked pasta with sauce, then add shrimp and toss to combine. Cook for 1–2 minutes to meld flavors.
Notes
For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish before serving.
