A flavorful and easy-to-make quinoa dish infused with butter and garlic, perfect as a side or light meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed well and drained
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for 5-6 minutes until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic, stir, and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add quinoa, chicken broth, and salt; stir well.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-18 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  • Fluff with a fork before serving.

Notes

You can add chopped herbs or a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
