Ingredients

Liquid

  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raw quinoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Milk or Cream

  • 1/2 cup milk (of choice or unsweetened creamer)

Sweetener

  • to taste sweetener (of choice) (Add based on preference)
  • optional raisins, chocolate chips, shredded coconut, etc. (Add as toppings)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (Optional)

Instructions 

  • Rinse and drain quinoa. Bring water, quinoa, salt, and optional cinnamon to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until fluffy.
  • Stir in milk or cream, then bring to a gentle boil while stirring.
  • Cook for a few minutes until desired thickness is reached.
  • Add toppings at any stage or garnish before serving.

Notes

You can customize toppings and adjust sweetness to your taste.
