Indulge in these rich, boozy chocolate truffles coated with your favorite toppings for a decadent treat.

Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 4 ounces chocolate (finely chopped)
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 tbsp triple sec
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (finely processed)
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions 

  • Chop the chocolate and place in a bowl.
  • Heat cream and butter, pour over chocolate, and let sit. Whisk until smooth, then add triple sec and vanilla. Chill for 1.5-2 hours.
  • Scoop and roll chocolate into 1-inch balls, then coat with toppings. Place on parchment paper.

Notes

Use a melon baller for uniform truffles and work quickly to prevent melting.
