Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 4 large eggs eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease pans and line with parchment.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat butter until creamy, then add sugar and eggs, mixing well.
  • Stir in vanilla, then alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until smooth.
  • Pour batter into pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before frosting.
