Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, melt butter, add flour, and cook for 1 minute. Stir in beef broth, milk, and crushed bouillon; simmer until thickened (~5 min).
Mix in peas, carrots, potatoes, and steak bites. Pour mixture into a prepared 9-inch pie pan with bottom crust.
Cover with top crust, seal edges with a fork, brush with beaten egg, and cut vents.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
To prevent burning edges, cover crust edges with foil if needed during baking.
