A hearty and flavorful bowl combining seasoned ground beef, tender broccoli, and roasted baby potatoes for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb ground beef (Look for 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio for flavor and juiciness.)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets (Choose firm and vibrant broccoli.)
  • 1 cup baby potatoes, halved (Select smooth and firm potatoes.)

Aromatics & Seasonings

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (Enhances the flavor of the beef.)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (Used for roasting potatoes.)
  • 1 tbsp butter (Can be substituted with olive oil for a dairy-free version.)
  • to taste Salt & black pepper (Essential for seasoning.)
  • to taste Paprika (Adds color and flavor.)
  • to taste Italian seasoning (Enhances overall flavor.)
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (Used as a garnish.)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Roast for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Steam or blanch broccoli until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Combine cooked beef, broccoli, and roasted potatoes in bowls. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Feel free to add a splash of soy sauce or hot sauce for extra flavor.
