  • 4 fillets Skinless Salmon (Choose fresh for best flavor.)

Liquid

  • 2 tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (Bottled can work in a pinch.)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (Essential for moisture.)
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic (Fresh is best, dried can be substituted.)
  • 1 tablespoon Old-Style Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper (Adjust according to taste.)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (Kosher or sea salt is preferred.)

Dairy

  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Margarine can be used but may change the flavor.)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (Half-and-half is a lighter option.)
  • 2 tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (Optional for added zing.)

Herbs

  • 2 tablespoons Parsley (Finely chopped for garnish.)
  • 1 lemon Lemon Slices (For presentation.)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season salmon with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear salmon for 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer salmon to a baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the lemon butter cream sauce by melting butter, adding garlic, then stirring in cream, lemon juice, and mustard. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Serve salmon topped with lemon butter cream sauce, garnished with parsley and lemon slices.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
