These spicy, cheesy jalapeno poppers are perfect for a flavorful appetizer or snack, baked to perfection with a creamy filling.

Ingredients

Main

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese (see notes)
  • 1 green onion green onion (sliced)
  • 0.5 cup hot sauce
  • 0.25 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 15 large jalapenos (halved and seeds removed)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onion, hot sauce, dressing, and garlic powder.
  • Fill jalapeno halves with the mixture, then sprinkle with extra cheese if desired.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until bubbling and softened.
  • Serve warm and store leftovers in fridge for up to two days.

Notes

For a thicker cheese crust, add extra shredded cheese on top before baking.
