Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease mini-muffin tin.
Cook apples with butter, spices, brown sugar, and water until slightly softened, then thicken with cornstarch mixture.
Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cut-in butter to form coarse crumbs.
Press crust mixture into mini-muffin cups, add apple filling, and top with remaining crust.
Bake until golden, cool slightly, then remove from pan. Drizzle with caramel if desired.
Notes
