Enjoy crispy, flavorful shrimp coated in a spicy Thai chili sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup flour or cornstarch
  • to taste N/A Salt & pepper
  • 1 egg egg
  • Olive oil cooking spray Olive oil cooking spray (such as Pam olive oil spray)
  • 1/2 cup mayo, or light mayo
  • 1/3 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha

Instructions 

  • Pat shrimp dry. Mix flour with salt and pepper. Dip shrimp in beaten egg, then coat with flour mixture.
  • Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange shrimp in a single layer. Lightly spray tops. Air fry at 400ºF (200ºC) for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway.
  • Whisk mayo, Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
  • Remove shrimp and toss in the sauce until coated. Garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spray shrimp lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
